WHAT TO DO?
Excursions can be done daily either by old schooner ships or by walking. There are more than a hundred beaches to walk to and enjoy. Or walk up one of Ilha Grande is high peaks through sub-tropical jungle. The land fauna is comprehensive and it is possible to see different kinds of monkeys, parrots, hummingbirds, turtles and Caymans.
The sea fauna is very extensive and you can see dolphins and even whales on the outside of the Island, as well as big and small rays and all kinds of coral fish. The Island is excellent for snorkelling, scuba diving and fishing
